Breaking The Anxiety Loop Cycle

When you suffer from anxiety, you live in a constant cycle of ups and downs. Anxiety leads to more anxiety and its a never ending loop of misery. In order to break the cycle, it is important to know how anxiety works and how to treat it. With just a few steps, you can be on your way to an anxiety free life.

It is still a mystery why anxiety comes on in the first place. You could be sitting quietly doing nothing, when the feeling of dread wells up inside of you. The feeling scares you and you get more scared from the scary feeling. Your body releases hormones that cause a physical reaction such as; pounding heart, chest pains, shortness of breath and feelings of constriction. That again, makes you more scared and the anxiety gets worse. It truly is a vicious cycle.

In order to stop the anxiety, you have to have the proper anxiety treatment. You also have to know how to break the cycle. When you feel the dreaded feelings welling up inside, tell them to stop. Repeat to yourself, “Its only a panic attack!” That way you reprogram your body to not react to the feelings anymore. You will soon feel lighter, happier and healthier once you are able to stop the anxiety from controlling your life.
